How They Met:
After deciding to wake up fairly early for a jog before starting her day, Pilar found herself stopping to stretch nearby pumpkin patches - where she heard a distant whine and rustle of bushes. Much to her confusion and after a moment of hesitation, she went towards the noise (with something more of a twig than a branch in hand) and found it to be a wild Jack-a-Jook with a hurt paw.

With tireless attempts at getting the creature to trust her, she wrapped its paw with a cloth from her pocket and managed to help it back to Pilars home where she better cared for the Jack-a-Jooks wound. Pilar made calls to pet stores - researched how to properly care for a Jack-a-Jook, and steadily grew fond of the animal and by the name its paw was fully healed, they'd become close - so much in fact that since then Pilar had gained a permanent roommate.
